Men Doing Manly Things

My good friend and now former roommate Jim Reimann got married this past weekend. I was honored to be a groomsmen, and it was a great event. It will get a blog post of it's own. Before we could get him married off it was critical that we celebrate his manliness. Thus we had a manly event to do just that. Jim, Quinn, and I headed out deep into the Commonwealth to play paintball.

It makes sense that you can't take pictures while you are playing, because you are likely to be shot. I got shot three times. Once in the face, once in the belt, and once in the knee. Only the shot on the knee left a mark.

We were slightly worried when we got there, as the game that was going on directly in front of us looked super intense. We were shepherded to the beginners game and it was an absolute blast. There was one kid in a green ringer t-shirt who I tagged a few times.

Jim felt properly feted and we got to shoot some middle schoolers. After a quick stop at 7-11 we headed back to the dudeplex, changed and went to Champps for manly food.



Not bad for a Saturday.
