| I hope he came and visited you. |
We went to church at Shannon's family ward. There were more babies there than a BYU Football Game (That's a lot of babies) and I was not at all used to how noisy church was. Eventually when I get the boot from the singles ward, I'll miss how quiet Sacrament meeting is.
I was placed at the singles' table for dinner which was an upgrade over the kids picnic, and less formal than the married table. I discussed in depth with Shannon's brothers Warren and Dan who their Hollywood Crushes were. I initially thought that Dan liked an Eva Mendes type, but he was more in ScarJo or Kim Kardashian. Warren on the other hand is more of an Angelina Jolie type of guy. Once Shannon was done thoroughly embarrassing her brothers, we headed outside for a rousing game of knock out. Shannon, all her younger brothers and her nephew Dean, and myself all competed. I won a round and had an overall respectable showing.
After knockout and dessert Shannon and I took her beast of a dog Woodrow (like a small bear sized Golden Retriever) for a walk. This behemoth is heavy and strong. I think he walked me more than I walked him.
We had a photo shoot that established the fact that not only are we the cutest couple in Arlington, we also are the cutest in the state Capital as well. Despite my hair not cooperating the pictures still turned out nice.
Shannon is super thoughtful and favored me with my own Easter Basket. It included some of my favorite Swedish treats, the Norse God of Thunder, and my favorite cinematic masterpiece.
We drove back to Arlington and our perfect Easter was thwarted only by too much traffic and the fact that Sonic was closed.
I told Shannon I would return the favor and take her to Whittier to see Ye Friendly town for Memorial Day,
