The Newest Member of The Family

While I was on my mission my sister Jennifer worked at UBS in New York City. My mom would write me stories of Ms. Peterman ( I think that was her name) Jennifer's boss at UBS. She was an extremely fancy lady who came to work in a limousine everyday. Ms. Peterman had no children but she loved her dogs. I recall a story where one of Jennifer's former coworkers brought her new baby to the office to show her office. Peterman when she saw the baby said "It is cute, but not as cute as my dogs." Obsessed by your dogs much?

Well I would never say that a dog is anywhere as cute as a new baby but I am slightly obsessed by the newest member of our family. His name is Winston.

He is a 14 week old Maltese/ Poodle mix. When I heard that my dad got a dog, I was really excited. I had wanted him to get a dog for years and wasn't sure he ever would.

Winston is a ton of fun. He has tons up puppy energy (he is the same age in dog years as my nephew Gavin 6 ) and enjoys biting, tug of war, and investigating the cat. He seems to enjoy cat food over dog food and is universally loved by my nieces and nephews.

We aren't sure if he knows his name yet, and he seems to respond better to "Puppy" than anything else. On the occasion that he does get worn out he likes to sleep on the floor in the kitchen or my dad's bathroom.

He does not like you to blow in his face, but other than that he is totally patient and fun with the kids. My dad said last night, that he seems like he has been with us forever. We just love this little guy.
