Not since elementary school have I enjoyed recess as much as I have during the last two weeks. Recess is a time when the members go back to their districts and focus on the constituents. It gives the staffers a chance to catch their breath and catch up on the things that get overlooked when the boss is here. I love it for a variety of reasons, the phones don't ring as much, not so many people stop by, I don't have to shave, and I can wear jeans everyday. I went two weeks without shaving my goatee and still my moustache was not Tom Selleck esque but I am beginning to at least be able to do the Vlad Guerrero look. So in honor of the final day of recess and Kobe's fifty point game last night I wore my new KB 24 jersey. The next recess is in May and I'm going to Costa Rica!

The End of Recess
