The Cherry Blossoms
Granada Matadores on their Eighth Grade Trip
The Roomies and I on the Steps of the Jefferson MemorialThis weekend was a lot of fun. I had known for quite some time that my eighth grade science teacher Mr. Anderson would be bringing out the eighth graders from Granada for their eighth grade trip. I met up with them Sunday morning and went along for a picture in front of the White House and to visit Ford's Theatre.
It was also conference weekend which meant watching it on TV. We got it started right on Friday night with burgers at Fuddruckers and a 10:20 showing of "Blades of Glory." I have but one question..."Does this look right to you?"
I somehow managed to injure my back on Friday but have no idea how I did it other than from gesturing broadly at work on Friday. This kept me from playing football on Saturday. We watched all the sessions of General Conference and went to a BBQ on Saturday night. It was also the final four so I watched most of the games and was sad that UCLA lost as I had picked them to win in my bracket. Saturday night was capped off by a trip to the luke warm hot tub.
I got invited for brunch before the first session and had crepes before the second session. On sunday evening we went down to the Tidal Basin to check out the Cherry Blossoms which had bloomed just a few days before. It was a busy weekend and a lot of fun.

Thought you'd like to know that I just got back from opening night. Frankie and Lackey looked good. so did Speier. Darren Oliver did not. Good times.
I could not be more jealous. In fact I hate you.
