2010 New Mexico Bowl Champions

My roommates and I were all set for an evening of basketball as both BYU and the Lakers were playing on national tv. In preparation we played a rousing round of Mario Kart which saw one Daniel John Nelson make an unlikely podium finish behind the wheel of Dry Bones. We were pleasantly surprised by our dear friend Kat and her dad. Kat's dad is one of the heroes of the the residents of 19th and Kent, along with Hao Long, Jimmer Fridette, and Darth Vader. We refer to Kat's dad as the Lt. Colonel as he is a retired a Marine Corps Officer and all around bad ass (with a heart of gold). The Flemings were nice enough to bring us hats from the New Mexico Bowl, which they attended in person.

These hats proved to be lucky as our beloved BYU Cougars went on to over come a double digit deficit to beat UNLV in Las Vegas and take early control of the Mountain West Conference.
