The End of Perfection

A perfect winning percentage. That is what I had in campaigns I had volunteered on. That is until this past weekend. For the most part I wouldn't say I have the magic touch, more like I just pick good candidates to back, in places where the electorate shares my own views. So it was with that confidence that I set out to help elect Tim Burns in a special election for Pennsylvania's 12th congressional district.

Despite my familiarity with going to door to door to talk to people, and my experience in participating in honk and wave activities, it just wasn't enough. As Tim "BOO-URNS" Burns came up short in a district that was 2-1 registered democrats to Republicans.

So ends my perfect campaign record, but it was still fun to be out there and participating in politics, something I hadn't done much of in the last year.

Big ups to Wayne, Adri, and Alysia, for a fun trip.
