It's Good To Be Back

I did no substantive blogging over the break (and I do fully realise that "substantive blogging" is pretty much an oxymoron) and so it's time to get going with Pete Chat in the New Year. I really need to get a moleskin so I can write down some of the things I want to write about for the blog. I know I've forgotten stuff that would be sort of funny to mention. I will have these moments where I think ah this would be great to blog about and then forget what it was.

In a relative sense a lot of events have happened in the last three weeks although none of them were life changing I think they are blog worthy.

Congratulations to Thomas and Lisa on the arrival of their little boy Ethan and to Brett and Beth who are expecting. (If you didn't know all blogs must have a mandatory message about kids in them, since I am not not in contact with any of my kids*, I have to mention those of my friends)

The Champ sitting on Santa's Throne at the University Mall in Provo Utah. It is a virtual watering holes for DB's and I'm not talking about Nate Clement type DB's
Despite what she might tell you we did not purposely nonvite Camille to go snowboarding.
B-Rock I took this picture especially for you. The world's tallest thermometer in Baker, CA. If you are a Mormon from SoCal or anyone who has ever made the trip between LA and Las Vegas you know this place well. (Not pictured, ZZYZX Rd.)

Jordan does this blow your mind? When worlds collide. MF Josh Rose, Me, Barber and B-Rock himself. Shooting pool and getting hit up by our hot server Shelby about Amway. That event will get its own post.
  • Happy 21st to my dear cousin Danielle. She'll be getting a post dedicated exclusively to her in the near future. She is the only one of my cousins where I remember her birth. Weird huh?
  • Even though Ryan Barber does not read my blog despite the fact that I tell him to on a regular basis, I am saying this for the whole world to know. Ryan know this, I will have Ultimate Revenge for the way you said good bye ( a punch to the junk). You won't know how or when but it's coming. And I got your Christmas Card. I liked it.
  • Speaking of Christmas Cards I had intended to write a Christmas letter on behalf of my dad and I. It never happened. So watch for it next year. It will be awesome.
  • If you ever find yourself watching little kids and you don't know what to do with them puppyfinder.com works like a charm. We are in serious search of the perfect puppy for my dad.
  • Welcome back to the USA Miss Holly Pack. Dan said you didn't like our minimalist approach to art in our Melrose. So maybe you could paint us something.
  • Daniel Nelson could make a fortune selling T-Shirts. Keep an eye out for the debut of SWPC T-Shirt.
  • The "things I've learned" emails continue to trickle in. Keep sending them so I have a lot to put up.
  • I call him Triple L (Ladies Love Leo) and defacto second missionary companion in Jonkoping, Mr. Leo Bojesen reads the blog. Massive props to you Leo. Shall we do Fest -i-Nord this summer?
  • And now a Haiku

I'm going to steal that picture too. If you would like help in revenge on Ryan, let me know.

I like a man that takes a picture of the world's largest rectal thermometer and posts it on his blog!

That seems so wierd, all those people are so dear to me. Barber, Josh and I filmed one of the greatest indy movies of all time. B-Rock and I went to Phuket together. (Despite what Matt says it as awesome.) So many memories with all those people. Who would have thought they would be paired in the same picture.
Oh yeah, I saw your goatee in Vegas, I am sure you fit in well at the University Mall, and I do mean in the Caleb DB sort of way.

This was very luxury. I wish that my blog could be as luxury as yours. I'm hanging with Kyle again on Saturday. And this time it's gonna be up close and personal.

Dude, Phucket was the greatest, remember when Johnny B. was running down the beach hand in hand with us?
