- With a victory today the Angels swept the Mariners in Seattle. That was huge and it gave them a bit of breathing room in the AL West. While I have been here I have watched a lot of games with Don and Chrissi. I think it's good luck because just about every time we watch the game together the Angels win.
- I think everyone who reads this knows that I love my Blog and I love Facebook. Facebook is a fun way to stay connected and my blog gives me a chance to be a little creative and write which I really enjoy doing. However I think I sometimes rush my entries and I end up unhappy with the end result. I don't plan on doing anything about that tonight but rest assured I am aware of it. The point I want to make is that personal human communication is so important. We have to be careful not to limit ourselves to texting, and posting, and emailing. So much of our meaning can be lost electronically. It's easy to jump to conclusions when we don't know the context, or meaning behind a statement. It's something I'm guilty of.
- As I type this I am watching Jimmy Kimmel Live. He just had Mandy Moore on. I would have to say Mandy Moore is probably my biggest celebrity crush. She seems so sweet and so cute. She was at the House of Blues the other night and I thought long and hard about going to see her. I was killing time at Down Town Disney and Disneyland and if I hadn't had somewhere to be I might have gone. Gorgeous, sweet and wholesome. If only she was Mormon and a conservative. We'd be perfect for one another.
- All the time I find myself thinking, "I should blog about that." So much so that I am thinking of buying a moleskin to write my ideas in. And as I write that I am drawing a blank on the other things I wanted to write about.
- I love my nieces and nephew. Holy Cow they can get on your nerves but they are so cute and can be so sweet. Dinner was an absolute disaster and I think we may be banned for life from the restaurant but we had a lot of fun and I didn't end with that much pudding on my face.
- Sometimes we get so caught up in our own self made drama that we forget that others are going through difficulties as well. I think that we all like a little drama, it keeps life spicy but hopefully not so much that we lose our empathy for others.
- Is that passive aggressive?
Brian Rowland aka B-Rock aka Brain is the latest of my friends to start a blog. I plan on linking to all my friends blogs because there are some excellent, insightful, and funny writers out there. Brian is no exception. Tia, Mandy, Shane, Matt, Tracy, Jim and Bethany all have blogs I check daily. I allready mentioned my sister Jenn's blog and that is great too. So well done by all of you.
